Oh, to die like my parents

May I die like my parents;
Not surrounded by the agony of the sickness of the mind and body,
But by my offspring, close relatives and friends, and love.

May I see this love on each and every day;
Not the sickness of the mind and body, eating me up day and night,
But children who will advance my generation and the legacy I will leave behind.

May I be at peace leaving this world;
Not held back by the uncertainty of what the next one holds,
But confident that I will be ready for its every form.

And may those I helped remember me;
Oh, may they remember me in wonderful eulogies and in the silence of their hearts.
And may my spirit rest in eternal peace.
